SHUN-PING LIU was born in Taichung, Taiwan. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Chemistry from National Chiao Tung University and a Master of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture. He is an architect, designer, and photographer based in New York. He worked for world-renowned architecture firms such as the U.S. based Skidmore, Owings, Merrill which is also one of the world’s 100 largest firm in New York, international recognized architecture office of Kengo Kuma and Associates in Tokyo, and one of the most admired architecture firm BIG, Bjarke Ingels Group in Copenhagen. He was also on the design team of Taiwan Pavilion at Venice Biennale 2014 for Bureau Spectacular in Chicago. Shun-Ping’s work has been presented and exhibited in Los Angeles, New York, and Taiwan. Shun-Ping is also the founder of skapos.
